From Myth to Modern Travel
In ancient Norse mythology, there is a lesser-known figure: Meili— son of Odin, brother of Thor.
He was not the god of thunder. He did not rule the skies. He did not command armies.
He did something else.
He walked beside those who travelled.
With those who left home. With those who crossed unknown lands. With those who faced the uncertainty of the road.
He did not promise an easy journey. He promised something more important:
That you would not travel alone.
