Meilora private ride

Kutná Hora day trip

  • 7 hours
  • Door to door
  • English-speaking driver
  • Up to 8 guests

The silver town, at your own pace

Silver made Kutná Hora rich enough to rival Prague in the Middle Ages, and the town the mines paid for still stands: a late-Gothic miners' church, a royal mint, lanes of patrician houses, and at Sedlec, a cathedral and the famous chapel of bones. The centre is listed by UNESCO.

The sights sit in two groups a short drive apart, Sedlec and the old town, and the car moves you between them. Seven hours door to door leave about four and a half in Kutná Hora, lunch included.

Useful tips

  • 01Each of the four sights has its own ticket, bought on site. Two or three seen properly usually make a better day than all four in a hurry.
