Colosseum underground and arena with Forum and Palatine (max 6)

  • About 3 h 15 min
  • Maximum 6 guests
  • English
  • Largo Gaetana Agnesi
  • 4.9(3,687 reviews)

Ancient Rome from below: the underground first, then the arena

For travellers who care about restricted access and a truly small group. The route starts in the underground chambers where animals, equipment and gladiators waited, then steps onto the arena floor.

From there it moves to the Roman Forum, the political and commercial centre, and up to the Palatine Hill, among pines and imperial ruins.

With six people it is easy to ask questions in crowded areas. Best as your main ancient-Rome experience.

  • Couples, families with older children and friends
  • Guests fine with steps, heat and rough ground; not wheelchair accessible
